Stuck in Charlotte

Starter went out in the hotel parking lot, and I have a full trailor and bed.

What size sockets do I need to remove the starter on a 92 Dodge CTD? Anyone know any good rebuild shops in Charlotte NC?

the bad thing is that I have the oversized contacts sitting on the workbench at home

unplugged the 2 prong connector at the positive battery terminal, jumpered it out and voila~ it started.


so?????: Rebuild starter with oversized contacts and replace relay?

before u give up on the starter and look for a rebuild what exxactly do u mean starter has failed...are u clicking and clicking? or cranking and no catch? describe it.....those starters are tough
