Throttle position sensor?

I am still having problems with my PAC not working correctly and I have been told by them to check the throttle position sensor. Is this the same as the APPS? IF yes, I was reading the tech facts and I was wondering what is slow when its describing pedal movement? I am taking the family on a trip with the TT in a few days and I cant get my truck to drive right!

Katoom:

I am pretty sure that I read on this site that the TPS and the APPS are the same thing on these trucks. In regards to how slowly you need to press the accelerator when resetting the APPS, I just pushed down slowly, about 3-5 seconds from no throttle to the floor and about the same back up. It seemed to work o.k. for my truck. Good luck. I know the stress level has to be getting high with your trip looming close.
