not sure what came first, buddy jumped in pickup with edge box on 5x5 and started out in 3rd and killed it. now it starts up, runs rough for about 5 seconds, then the tach will die and the check engine light comes on, when that happens it will smooth out at idle. also no oil pressure reading. codes are for the cam sensor 0341which i replaced, then 0501 and 0521, and i also replaced the crank sensor for good measure. nothings worked, i had the ecm flashed today and didnt help, any help would be appreciated

 

I just looked thru my factory manual for the codes 0501 and 0521... I could not find them. Are you sure the numbers are correct?

yes, those were the numbers that the the dealership pulled when they reflashed my ecm, they could not find anything on it either

 

0521 Oil pressure sensor performance/rationality

0501 Vehicle speed sensor circut, or no vehicle speed reference signal

thanks, it helps, but also makes the search a little more complicated. it runs in limp mode, loses the tach, no oil signal and the speedo is a little off. could those things come from the VP if its electronics are screwed up, or do u think the ecm is done.
