Hey guys Hope one of u can answer a quick question for me. After I replaced the abs control module the durn abs light has stayed on, After doing sum reading I found out u have to take it to the dealer to have the durn thing reset. Any of my favorite shadetrees got a home brew to reset the abs light? The brakes work properly , but the durn light is driving me nuts!!

 

On your 2000 the ABS does a dynamic scan every time you turn on the key, and will set a code only if a problem remains. If you fixed the problem, the ABS warning light will turn off. When it sets a code it also automatically turns off the ABS capabilities and relies solely on conventional braking, so your ABS is not working either.
