stalling defueling something??????

stalling defueling something??????

Well on the way home tonight i was driving through town lettign her warm up a bit at bout 20 got otuside of town once i hit 40 she started stallign or defueling I am just guessing its the lift pump but does anybody have any other ideas on what it could be PLEASE any help would be greatly appriciated

I do bnot have fuel pressure gauge yet so i do not know i do not know how to check for codes either so any help would be greatly appriciated i figure i would try and start with the fuel filter and see waht happens then maybe lift pump

You might check the fuel filter, she could be clogged and in need of replacement.
How cold is it outside, fuel could be gelling up on you. I would check the little things before I put on a new lift pump. You might be able to do some checking around, and find out what the pressure should be coming out of the pump, and how low it can be before it no longer works. Good Luck,

Might also try draining the water out of the fuel filter also!

You'll need a scanner to get the codes, get to Autozone, they'll do it for free (if you have a CEL on)
