rpm's lost

i had my truck running outside, it was about 1 degree outside at the time, i got out everything was fine. when i got back in my truck it had a check engine light on so i started looking around and my tach was reading 0 with truck still on. after that i went to dinner, shut the truck down, about 30 mins later tach was fine. so took it to the dealer and they said it had the following codes, p0341, p1690, p1693, and p0521. if any of you have had this happen to you, i would be greatful if you could help me

thanks

Sorry, I don't have a list of codes handy but I believe if you are loosing your tach the most common cause is the CPS. (crank position sensor)

Here is a stupid question.......

Was your alternator charging properly during this???

Have you found out anything since your first post. I am having the same problem with code 0341, 1690 and 1693 and tach quits for several minutes and then starts working but no other problems occur. My alternator is working okay and I have no loss in power. This problem has only occurred when it was very cold and the grid heaters were kicking off and on and drawing down the voltage.

P0341 Camshaft Position Sensor Performance / Rationality
P0521 Oil Pressure Sensor Performance / Rationality

The p1693 is a companion code meaning a code was set in the computer. I don't know what the p1690 is.
