if you had access to an ECM from the exact same truck setup (same year, same trans, same everything) it might work without a reflash, but I can't say. Sounds like that is now your problem, since I forgot the injectors are electrically actuated.

I did some test on APPS and the voltage was to high from the ECM and the dodge service manual says to replace the ECM. A few other spots I test all seem to stem from the ECM, so to eleminate problems from the ECM and harness I will replace em and work from there. Glad to hear someone else cutting me some slack

Hows the reviving going?
I don't have any advise to add as I have never worked on a diesl before...but these mega projects such as what you are doing and the one where a fellow put a Cummins in a new Ford are really interesting.
Kinda fun, if you don't have to make a deadline or spend a bunch of bucks.
Good luck and keep us posted.

P0483-FAN SPEED
P0633-SKIM SECRET KEY NOT ENTERED
P0192-FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR VOLTAGE TOO LOW
It will still run with shot of ether, so having P0192-FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR VOLTAGE TOO LOW code seems to be the prolem I have to solve now after I flash the Info. of my truck. Will update again if some are interested or want to give some help.

For the ones who are interested I was able to get the engine running again, this is what I did to get it running. While waiting on a DBR to flash the used ECM I started to check other things. First I removed the CP3 and took it apart and put it back together as it looked good inside. Having code P0192 I did the test on it and it came back with the sensor as bad so I replaced it with the one on the other truck, same as before Code P0192 connected and P0193 disconnected so both of them maybe bad but I think it ran with the code P0192 before it stoped. Next I changed the FUEL PRESSURE LIMITING VALVE and it started up after that, I have a few questions if someone can help me. I am getting way to much heat at the FUEL PRESSURE LIMITING VALVE. The vave that I replaced would allow air pressure test of 130psi to flow and the replacement does not. Could this valve be stuck closed and giving the rail to much pressure and is the source of the heat problem? One other thing P0192 Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Low , if the sensor is bad can it have something to do with the FUEL PRESSURE LIMITING VALVE not letting excess fuel flow through the valve. The FUEL PRESSURE LIMITING VALVE is a manual valve so I am having a hard time understanding if that can cause the heat unless it is normal for that much heat at the valve.
I wish you the best of luck with this. I will keep up with the progress. Having been educated in electronics, I've got to tell you, this is way more of a project than I would undertake. There is just too many sensors that create a spiralling effect on each other for me. Good luck, I hope you can get it going and end up with a great truck. If for nothing else the pride in getting it figured out. Just one thing, when you finish this, you will have gained an insight into how these modern diesels work that exceeds most everybody else's level. Don't forget to come back and offer help.
Best of luck.
Chris
