I think I isolated the problem.

The two solenoids that cycle the grid heaters... the one on the left was disconnected by removing the two small elbows that slide onto the studs and the problem went away and has not come back on.

The voltage needle rests at 14 on the nose...

It used to be higher like about 1/8" above 14v...

Can a bad solenoid cause the amp load I'm describing in the above thread?

Where can I buy a single replacement?

Should my voltage read higher?

Do I need both solenoids?

Does one do one thing and the other do something else?

Whats the Cummins Part Number for a solenoid?

Someone please help - gotta know before I leave tonight, gonna make a stop at Cummins to buy a relay and need the part number...
