piston coolin nozzles

I am trying to finish rebuilding my 2000 ISB 235 engine and still cannot find those darn steel piston cooling nozzles. I need my truck back on the road desparately and there is no way the plastic nozzles which contributed to the failure in first place are going back in. Please help!

Try a search on that topic. I remember a long thread on that with a guy that installed those nozzles. I can't remember the handle of the gentleman but a search should bring it up..

I'd suggest you try to retrofit the cooling nozzles from a brand new HPCR truck. Supposedly the are metal, and flow more oil.

Yeah, Thumper made his own, out of metal. I don't think he's on this board anymore though. I haven't seen a post from him in a while.

Thanks Thumper, I already had some made as I figured nobody probably sells them. I would not mind buying a set from you for my next engine in the future.

copy the plastic green ones in your gasket kit....you have to make a couple extra to get the size right as the o.d. will be diff. from plastic. Try 3/10 of 1000 to start with ...Thats the nu. thats comes to my lil brain.......and you do not have to put that shoulder on them ,its a extra step....not needed
