P2149 code, truck will barely run

Yesterday on my '05 I noticed the check engine light was on while driving down the highway. I'm not sure when it came on but I noticed it a few minutes after fueling and then pulling back onto the highway. Truck was running fine though and I drove it another 30 miles or so to work.

I checked the code and it says "fuel injection group 2 supply voltage circuit". When I got off work I started the truck and it ran fine with the check engine light still on for about a block then it started running very rough and I couldn't accelerate. I limped it back to the parking lot at work.

I searched on threads containing P2149 and think it may be a short somewhere but I don't really know where to look. I disconnected and reconnected two of the connectors that look like they go to the injectors but it didn't help. The truck will start but it will barely idle.

Any ideas?

Disconnect the pigtail nuts from injectors 4, 5, and 6.
Measure the resistance between the solenoid posts of each injector.
NOTE: Be sure to zero the ohm meter prior to checking the injector circuit.
Is the resistance less than 1 ohm and greater than 0 ohms? if not then Replace the fuel injector or injectors.
INJECTOR HARNESS make sure resistance of each circuit in the injector harness from pigtail side to injector harness connector is less then 1 ohm
If not then replace the injector harness.

I have a multimeter with me but I'm not exactly sure how to do this. I assume from the pic that I just need to take the black cummins vanity cover off to get to these pigtail nuts?

Correct then remove wires from injectors. 8MM socket. Good injector should read .5 ohm. But if 0 ohm or over 1 ohm is no good. Careful when tightening these nuts since breaking a stud off injector it will need to be replaced good or bad. I use a Fluke digital multimeter works well. But any good multimeter will work on low scale and zero the ohms before testing.

Got around to checking things today and the #6 injector is bad. It showed 58 ohms. The #4 and 5 injectors were both .5 ohms. I wasn't really sure how to check the harness but since the injector needs to be replaced I'll have the shop do that when they do the injector.
