P-1689 & P-1693????
Any ideas? Messed around with the truck till late last night now I get codes. What do these codes mean and what can I do to get my truck running.
If you need more info. check my last thread (engine died???) It doesn't even act like it wants to start. Thanks all

OK, 1689- no communiction between the ecm and I.P. module. Data link circuit failure between the ecm and I.P. = low power, engine derated or engine stops. Does that sound close check I.P. conection and e.c.m. conection you will have to take out the allen head (might be torque) bolt out of the center of the ecm plug to get it off. 1693 just tags along for the fun of it
