Hi All, Yesterday on trip of 400 miles coming home all four things would quit for no reason? and some times when slowing down hill it would shift from OD to 3 but when i gave it throttle it would go back to OD, What a ***** trying to go 60 in 3 gear for 200 or so miles with your foot stuck in the pump at 3100, Any idea's?? Thank's Larry

What he said. '92 - '98 trucks need the crank sensor to tell the PCM that the engine is running or all that stuff won't work.
I bet it's a 1st gen because he didn't mention the tach dying.
