Oil Pressure

My oil pressure gauge is doing weird stuff, some times will drop to nothing. I had takin it to the dealer they said there was a TSB on it and it had somthing to do with the computer. They reflashed and it still seems to do it. I checked the codes and it gives me a 522, and 523, they both are for a bad oil pressure sensor I think. Any ideas if this is whats wrong, where its located, about how much they cost, and where to purchase them.
Thanks

1st: Please fill in your signature so we'll know a little about your truck.

2nd: Look here: http://www.dodgeram.org/tech/dsl/mt_...l_sys_comp.htm

3rd: Mine was about $80 at Cummins South Plains. DO NOT go to a Dodge dealer.....too high.

without knowing what year of your truck, those are the codes for sensor low and hi signals. the sensor should be under warranty. providing you are under warranty.

The "Re-Flash" turns your gauge into a useless accessory.

The gauge will now only show a pre-set pressure, instead of a variable pressure like a gauge is suppsed to.

If you oil and filter are fresh, the next thing I would do is change the sensor.
