I think you are referring to the oil line that lubricates the vacuum pump and power steering pump shaft.

Are you sure it is the hose? The seals tend to go bad. About 4 hours time and $3.84 in parts and you will be as good, maybe even better, as new. If this is your problem be sure to get the viton o-rings in lieu of the buna-n. The viton holds up better under higher temperatures.

If you lay on your back and look up right behind the fan on the drivers side you will see it. I might be able to take a picture and send it.

As was already stated here and the diagram posted, the oil line comes from the block oil rail and goes to the bottom of the vacuum pump. It was also said that the line generally never leaks, but the seals in the vacuum pump almost always leak.

If you want to go and buy a teflon shielded high pressure oil feed line, go ahead, but I doubt that it will fix anything.

OK, Here's what I seen, new oil change, I knew their was some type of oil leak. With the motor running for several minutes I seen several oil drips coming from the "shielded high pressure oil feed line" lower part to the vacuum pump. I wiped off the entire area several times. Now it looks like to me the oil is coming from the hose.
So if the seals are leaking, would it appear like this??
Thanks

When my seals were leaking oil beaded on that hose, actually the fitting that screws into the bottom of the Vac Pump and would drip off of there, hot 15 W 40 does weird things when it's being blown around like crazy from the fan and such.
