If you wanted to you could replace the fuel lines with it , more flow = more power.

I think -8 is what Big Blue has on his truck for fuel lines , but it is an overvalved truck, the fuel system on them sucked , as far as stock goes.

I can't really think of anything else , besides transmission lines ( stock is .5" outside diameter on the tubing) that you could replace it with it.

The -8 is the size of the line in 1/16"....the "8" represents the number of 1/16" in the ID of the hose. 8 x 1/16" = 1/2"......-8 line is supposed to be 1/2" ID so anywhere you have an application for 1/2" hose, it should work unless you it is for a high pressure application like a hydraulic hose.

The 24v trucks upgrade to -8 hose for some of the fuel lines but a 12v truck would have to be pushing a lot of hp to outflow the stock lines.

Yup. Been running -8 stainless braided line for the last 4 years with AN fittings with absolutely no issues whatsoever.

how big of a cooler with electric fan do you think I will need to replace the factory cooler and the other one on the side of the engine? I found one on Jegs that says up to 30,000 GVWR with -8 fittings and a 10 inch electric fan, do I need more or no?

i run -8 fuel line also on my 24v

what size are the tranny cooler lines? thats about all i can think off unless you bought yourself and oil cooler and plumbed an oil cooler or bypass filtration system into the extra port on the filter housing.

come to think of it that would be a good idea...oil go thru a cooler then to a bypass filter before returning clean and cool to the engine...HRMMM if only i had the money

Our engines will need larger than -8 hose and fittings to be able to flow high enough for an engine oil cooler.....-10 minimum.

even if it was only doing about 10% of the oil at a time? like the bypass oil system where only a portion is going thru at a time?
