I changed the fuel filter and didn't hear anything after bumping the starter couple times so it's not priming. fuse is good. 129thou miles and no other problems. time for a new lift pump?

 

When you first turn the key after you have started the truck before the wts light goes off do you hear any thing? try opening your door and listening for the hiss. If not then you might be up a creek what is your fuel psi?

 

the pump is quiet. i know there is 0 pressure because after changing the filter there is no prime. i'm just gonna order a new lift pump.

 

I would say that would be wise 100 or so bucks vs 2000 is a better kick in the shins in my book
