Lost Reverse
I lost reverse in my 47re.
When I place it in reverse it engages but the truck wont move. I give it some throttle and it will creep a little and then after 5 sec it will slowly start to fully engage. As if I am letting a clutch out. This made me think that the clutch packs are gone. My 1st-4th gears all work fine. No slip good shifts. Do y'all think a rear band adjustment will fix this or is my tranny or clutch packs finally gone? Thanks!

I'll get the Yota tomarrow after the UA probaly around 9ish if you want to ride out there. We can adjust the band this weekend if you want not sure what good it'll do, or take the valve body off and root around in there with a stick

LOL! It might do us better than where we are at now! Lets just take the valve body out and leave it out and see what that does! I am dropping the truck off at the tranny shop at 9:30. You wanna ride out there with me to drop it off then we will go from the shop to go get the yota?
We can put a rope on the engagement lever for the front band and when you want to go forward just pull it up!!! If we put back on the pan we'd have to drill a hole in it but it's cool, we can run the rope through the magnent

There by Subway, got it. I'll be there, look for the Krispy Kreme box on the dash big enough to fit a small child in it.
