No oil pressure!

Son called, said check engine light came on, no oil pressure. He took off the oil fill cap and says he can see oil comming up to the head. I'm sure it's the sendor. Now, anybody with info on changing this and price of part?

Call Napa , unless you like to pay too much [ dealer ] , not sure where its located on your truck , but once you have one in your hand , it will be easyer to find . I would guess $25-45 .

Yes he checked dip stick!

We ended up installing another oil pres guage. We went in to the port next to the turbo supply outlet on the filter housing. Routed the line to the cab with a mechanical guage. Works GREAT!
I strongly recomend this for all you other guys having this issue. The total fix costs under $40. And, it's cheap insurance if you dont trust your factory gauge!

If your factory sender is still bad and not registering at the dash isn't your CEL still on?
