So , I have a 2010 CTD and I drove to town to have my front windows tinted. But before that I noticed that the truck was locking its own doors by itself today.

So while the guy was tinting the windows he had to engage the key off and on to roll the widows up and down . At some point , the windshield wipers came on , the windows would not roll up or down . We started the truck , let it run for a couple minutes , then shut it off . Still the same thing . I disconnected then reconnected the batteries. He was able to roll up the window and finish the job .

I started the truck , had no gauges , the electric brake system was in alarm and the windshield wipers could not be shut off , the turn signals did not work , the exhaust brake did not work , the A/C was not cold so I made the 20 mile trek home with all of this and the windshield wipers going in 97 degree heat .

I pulled into the house and disconnected both batteries, both positive and negative sides .

So here I sit hoping for some guidance from some of you fellers or fellerettes !!!

I live a half hour from civilization here hoping for a bit of help from fellow dodge CTD addicts . ; )
