Sounds to me like the valve body is bleeding off pressure. But I am no expert.

Is it possible a throttle cable, lever/spring, adjustment, binding, looseness, and or shift linkage is at fault???? Is it possible the cooler lines were not cleaned/flow tested???
AT this time suggest contact MR CARR for another tranny. Suspect this one is trashed by now. Clutches smoked ect.
