need help 06 cummins cylinder 5 missfire

need help 06 cummins cylinder 5 missfire

i plugged in the smarty to read the code and it said cylinder #5 missfire and i guess this means its not firing and its hard as hell to get started, what do i need to do and is this a big cost fix? thanks guys

I would guess its a dead injector.

X2 the solenoid is not working correctly and throwing the code.You can chance it and just replace that one injecter or pull all of them and have them tested and replaired

no warranty , would the added timing setting could that just be throwing the timing off causing it to not fire in order?

not really going have to replace or repair at least that injecter

could be wire harness issue few guys have had that problem meter of fact my 06 my be having that issue

had same problem on my 06 changed one and then another went bad, ended up just swapping all of them
