name that noise....clutch issue

I had my truck at the dealer they installed a new valair 13", release bearing, pilot and flywheel supplied by me. it's now a month later and i have been getting a screech that has been getting worse. it's when i depress the clutch and just befor it engages again. it has been getting harder and harder to get into gear, now a little difficult to get out of gear sometimes. i have had a release bearing go and it sounds like the same simptoms, any idea's i will have a pilot and release bearing on hand when i pull the tranny. or does it sound like hydrolics at all.
thanks

it sounds very much like you have a pilot bearing that is trying desperately to consumate its relationship with the input shaft.

In short order, it will, then you will have direct drive, in any gear you choose.

I'd say pop the cylinder off and see if it does it alone to isolate the hydraulics from the bearing.

the housing that holds the input shaft was broken off along with a messed up release bearing. i got it all fixed up now after a few weeks i get a little whine when i engage the clutch from a start shifts fine and no noise while driving. do i just asume it's a noise from the friction?
