i have a 97 12 -valve that is leaking fuel out of the water drain tube. the valve is shut, but it seems to leak fuel out of the tube very slowly .. but this is at an idle of about 1000 rpms {have a throttle control stick for the peddle} and yes, it is fuel, not water. any suggestions??

 

I had a fuel filter do that to me, I was out of town and changed the fuel filter using Purolator brand. The O-ring would not seal on it and it would leak around the hose but looked like it was running down the inside of the clear hose. <br> A Wix filter solved the problem pronto. When I can't get a filter from a Cummins dealer, Wix will fill the bill everytime.
