OK, tell me this is OK...

I have my trucks idle set between the 750 and 1000 mark... its idling pretty high (for me at least... I'm used to a lower idle)

Truck starts much better and the clutch engages smoother...

Is this OK?

Should I turn it down a bit?

Will this cause any engine problems?

I like manual trans trucks to idle at 850 with the A/C on. Much smoother, better oil, coolant, and air flow. It's good all around.

I make them a tick under 1000 with the a/c off which drops it around 750 with the a/c on
