first i would like to say long time listener first time caller....ok my goat started leaking water at the ends of the head. pulled head, gasket bad, head cracked, block surface fine. bought new head ( not cheap), replaced head, set valves. rechecked valves. everything looks cool. bleed injectors etc. truck cranks and idles fine. has very sluugish takeoff since headjob. eats diesel like nothing else. rechecked valves. checked all chargeair lines. no check engine light. sounds good just sluggish and whatnot. fuel pressure is fine (twin pumps) boost pressure is normal. cant hardly get out of its own way an i need her to run correct and now....any help appreciated

 

Check the timing

 

Check to make sure you have all the sensors plugged in. You can't check the timming. Thanks Steve B.
