i found the leak

i found the leak

i had a problem with a fuel leak a drop of fuel a secound feel from the bottom bolt on the injection pump. i just replaced the gov spring and the throttle shaft seal. the pump vent line is leaking my question is it is a replacable part or can i repair with rubber hose. thanks guys

Have you replaced the washers on the return banjo? A fresh set will probably fix 'er right up.

it is not leaking from there. it is leaking right before the first clamp that holds it to the engine

i was trying to find out if i can remove this line with the pump still in place and if this is a high pressure line

It's going to be hard to get it out, you will probably have to pull a few injection lines. There is no pressure to speak of in the return line. Diesel rated fuel hose is an acceptable repair.

is there anything i should know about before i pull some injection lines. or is it just un bolt and remove.

Don't bend them. You should be able the get them off in groups of 3.

the lines were a ***** and i repaired the fuel leak only to find more that i had already fixed. see other post
