fuel pressure problems??

I just had a new injection pump installed and then I put in a fuel pressure gauge and it was reading 11-12 at idle and 4-5 at wot.

Well while I was driving home yesterday it said 0 while driving at any speed and 4 at idle, but my pump still makes a sound when I bump the key.

Is my pump going bad? I am about to go check on a holley blue do I just by pass my fuel pump all together if I buy a holley blue? Also is there any thing else I need to buy besides the pump its self to help me during the install?

Last but not least has any one ever made up some instructions for the installation? I will most likely need some.

Sure sounds like you need a lift pump.

The ball in the relief valve part of the lift pump is hanging up.

The pump is junk so get it replaced ASAP.

That's why a fuel pressure guage is so important, and why you burned up your first IP.

Now you have to decide stock LP (not a good chioce) Walbro, or FassII.
I like the FASS II with the 4 year warranty, but Walbro is good also.
