Went to start truck today and starter didnt turn over,Assumed it was starter and replaced it. Still nothing! Batteries were recently replaced and seem to be holding charge. Computer seem's fine. When ignition is turned on all panel lights come on. What do you think?

If it is an automatic it could be the neutral start switch. Try shifting thru the gears and start in park and neutral. If that is not the cause you need to do some electrical testing. Try that first.

I just looked at the circuit for a 2001. I would check for voltage at the starter solenoid terminal with the key held to start. It should read battery voltage if the circuit is working properly. If no voltage then more testing of the start circuit is required. The solenoid terminal is the small terminal and it shows as a brown wire connection.
Check your fuses with a meter. Fuse 10 50Amp and fuse 9 30 Amp according to the diagram.
The fuel pump may be another separate issue.

Ok, check fuse 9 and see if it is good. If fuse is good do the following test:
Remove the engine starter relay. Find the sockets for pins 30, 87, 86 and 85. The numbers are next to the relay pins.
With a volt meter connect the positive lead to the socket of pin 30 and black to ground. You should read battery voltage. The socket for pin 30 is always hot with battery voltage. Pin 87 is the wire to the solenoid and it is a dead circuit without the relay.
Now get a jumper wire 10-12 gauge. Connect one end to the socket of pin 87and quickly touch the socket of pin 30. This completes the starting circuit and your starter will turn the engine over if all is good. All you want to do is confirm that the starter engages. Remove wire once you know the starter works. Have a helper at the wheel for safety.
Now have a helper hold the key to start. While he does this check for voltage at pins 86 and 85. According to the schematic posted it should be pin 86 with voltage and pin 85 without voltage. It could be reversed. You should have voltage at one of those pins. Post the result of this and we can go to the next step.

Thanks so much! It was fuse # 9. I still am old school , Lol. Didnt realize my truck is nothin but computer's and relays. Expensive lessen learned here. It was the original starter with 295,000 miles on it.That was the first thing i thought it was. Thanks again

I had the same problem today, and it ended up being the 20 amp solenoid fuse. Put a new one in and it fired right up. Who knows why a fuse would blow one minute, and then be OK. I have jumper cables handy if I need to jump the starter again.....
