Fuel pin question

I am rotating my fuel pin and inside there is some sort of lube on the pin where that it contacts the gizmo. It looks really dirty and also the TPS looks the same. should the pin be lubed at the contact point and with what?? The TPS as well? waiting to hear so I can put it back together.
Thank You.
Thank you

I always used lithium grease on the pin, very light and on the linkage. Good stuff and good for the moderate pump temperatures. I found any other lube tended to settle at the bottom and not lubricate the pin.

I also cleaned the bore for the pin and the pin with a cleaner to remove any varnish or dirt from previous adjustments. Just make sure the pin moves freely and doesn't bind. It makes for smoother power response.
