Code 27-17 and 29-17

I installed clearance lights on my truck this weekend. Got the install done and startred the truck and everything works as advertised except the fact that I have these two codes now. They are 27 17 and 29 17. Does anybody know what this modern piece of equipment is trying to tell me?? Thanks to eveybody who has posted on previous installs of these lights it was a huge help!

Those are instrument cluster codes. You got them from holding down the trip odometer button and turning on the ignition, right? The 27 code is: courtesy/dome circuit shorted or open.
The 29 code is: cargo lamp circuit shorted or open.

The 17s are the number of times you cycled the ignition switch since the codes were set.

I assume you probably cut the wires for those two circuits during the clearance light install. If the dome and cargo lights work then you have nothing to worry about.
