I have a fuel leak somewhere on my 01. Its hard to tell because its dark outside but im pretty sure its coming from the fuel filter canister. The hose that comes from where you drain the water out is wet on the OUTside. Any ideas on what it could be?


The black screw top on the water drain (the one right below the valve you pull up to drain the water/fuel) turns or it doesnt? I tried to turn it but Im afraid if i turn it any harder its going to break. Its not budging at all.

My fuel pressure is good between 15-16 at idle.
This could be why ive lost my mileage recently. I added an edge with juice and every since I have lost about 4 mpg with it on level 1.

Im getting about 240mpg on a half a tank now

 

I went out this morning and the black peice and the drain hose was completely dry.
