Angry I have a 48RE leak and transfer case leak

Well lets see, I got the truck in 0ctober. I've had to replace the 6 disc in dash changer, have two windows that make noise and need adjustment, and now discover red drips on my garage floor. Upon inspection with a flashlight, I have some slight seepage of a red fluid coming out of the transfer case, and also some dripping out of one location on the transmission itself The truck has operated well so far and I really love it, however the trip this will require to the dealership will certainly cost me some time and annoyance factor.

Funny. I do love the 48re though, and don't miss clutching in the stop and go traffic we regularly have here. Especially after a long day of riding a stand-up jetski, the last thing I want to do is work my legs all the way home Oh well, I'm just glad these little things are coming out right away while under warranty.

Are you sure it isn't all that excess Biodiesel being returned via the injector/fuel return lines?!?!

I wish. I've been out of biodiesel for a while now. I'm annoyed to have to make an appointment, because dodge doesn't give loaner cars. What a pain in the a**.

Where are they leaking, at the main seals?

I was thinking along the same lines as Spots when I first read the post: there's no red fluid in the 6-shooter.....

actually, its leaking where the transfer case meets the trans, and part of the transfer case itself. I could take a pic if anyone really cared. It's going into the dealer tomorrow AM to get fixed.

Man, for a guy that doesn't put much of a load on her, you've been beating the snot out of her, huh? Whats up with that?

Maybe she's worried about moving up north to Cleveland. Shoot, I'd be wetting myself too.....

Amsoil.

That'll cure what ails her.....

The good news is that there's stuff in there to leak out. Seriously though, I'm sure they'll solve those nagging little problems and she'll be just like new again.
