I just bought a 2004 3500 in january and it already had a FASS system on it .... when it gets cold out seems like fuel is gelling up even with additaves in the fuel ... a friend of mine said he heard that there is a problem with a certain filter in the winter time that is causing the problem.. is that true

I had a 98 3500 with a air dog system and i got fuel at same place and never had any problems

 

If you have water in the system then most likely the filter is now saturated with water and will naturally freeze up. Replace the filter and ONLY purchase fuel from a place that sells LOTS of it.
