Question The Fan Belt just rubbed thru CPS wires!

Of all the stupid thing to happen....The Fan Belt just rubbed thru CPS wires breaking them.

I'm not paying $100+ for a new CPS (<1 yr old anyways).

What is the best way to SPLICE the wires ?

BTW, 1998, 2nd Gen 12 Valver.

They do that sometimes.

Solder and heat shrink tubing.

Maybe when the KDP was done the ESS wires, engine speed sensor, no CPS on a 12 valve, hold down was forgotten.
Easy to overlook.
Solder and heat shrink for the most reliable joint.

Yup. The ESS wires.

I replaced the ESS about a year ago for around $100.

I'll be splicing the wires soon after it stops raining outside!
