Question Electrical connection ???

I am gutting the interior of my truck to install Dynamat and removed everything except the driver seat. Before disconnecting the bolts for the seat I noticed a loom of wires underneath the driver seat which appears to be connected to the seatbelt harness of the driver seat. Can someone please tell me what this wiring harness is and should I disconnect the battery terminals before disconnecting the harness?

It's for the seatbelt warning light. Won't hurt anything to unplug it with the batteries connecting.

The quad cab trucks have a module under the seat too, that controls the electric locking mechanism on the integrated seat belts. Just make sure the key is off when you disconnect or reconnect it.
