Does anyone know how to remove fuel lines???!!

Does anyone know how to take the freakin fuel lines off from the sending unit? I've tried everything and went to 3 auto parts stores. all they sell is ford and gm fuel line removal tools. I'm about to cut the hose off at the steel tubeing on the frame and just reaplce it all with flexable rubber type line insted of this freakin plastic quick connect junk.

as far as i know blow them out good and spray them with some wd-40 and pinch the tabs togeather to release the lock. keep them depressed and twist and pull the line. it should release.

The fuel lines are removed by pressing on the tabs of the connector while gently pulling on the fuel line, no twisting required. To replace just push them on.

I cut mine off and used hose clamps. They are pretty weak.
