clutch bracket at firewall broken

looking to check out my master cylinder this aft, and found the main bracket holding clutch pedal arm, mounted to firewall then back up to steering column, is cracked clean through, right next to area where clutch master cylinder is mounted so that the only thing keeping the master cylinder from going into the engine compartment is the sheet metal around the firewall. what to do???
thanks

when i got a heavy duty master cylinder upgrade for my double disc, the new master cylinder did not match up at all. try the easy and cheap method and zip tie it to something, I prefer my pressure booster lines from my powerstreering pump I havent had and problem with that fix.

I had this happen to me on a on an old Landcruiser and I fabricated two steel plates, one for the inside of the firewall and one for the outside of the firewall. Then I drilled and bolted the M/cyl. back on. Worked great but this was on a much older vehicle so I don't know if it would work with yours.
