Check Engine Light on after I removed turbo silencer ring

Alright, Guys last night I unplugged what I think looked like a mass air flow sensor at the air box to remove the air intake line to the turbo. After I removed the silencer ring from the turbo and put the air intake line back on I forgot hook this sensor back up before I went down the road. Once I realized I didn't hook up the sensor because I noticed the check engine light was on I pulled over and hooked it back up. Now my check engine light won't go out. I disconnected both batteries trying to reset the computer and sure enough the check engine light is still on. How can I reset this with out going to the dealer or autozone.

You will have to have a code scanner to erase the code set when you started it with the sensor unplugged.

After a dozen or so good starts many of the CEL codes will clear themselves. Wait a few days to see if it just goes away.

Acutually it takes "three good trips." The definition of three good trips is ambiguous but it basically means allowing the engine to get up to temp 3 times.

I did the exact same thing that you did and my CEL went away fairly quickly.
