Brakes!!!

I just changed my brake pads on the front tires, and i put it all back together and i cant seem to get my calipers to compress. The passenger side compresses a little but im pretty sure the driver side doesnt just because it pulls the truck on brakeing to that side and it doesnt stop very well at all and it is a very rough stop. Air in the lines maybe? Any input would be great!

You shouldn't need to bleed any air unless you opened up the brake lines/bleeders. Soundls like maybe you either got the wrong shoes or the calipers aren't floating right.

Any chance you twisted the rubber sectionof the brake lines when putting it back? (made a full twist with the caliper whenit was of and hung out of the way)

nope i made sure everything was in good condition and i made sure nothing was turned wrong. The line was leaking but i tightened it up and it stopped so i guess air could have gotten into it.

open the bleeder, then take a flat piece of steel and a C clap and push the piston back in. if it still seems like it wont go, id get a new caliper, i think there about 25 bucks.

It should go fairly easy. Make sure the hoses aren't kinked when you are trying to compress them either! Had that happen to me the other day for the first time! I lifted the caliper up some to take pressure off of the hose at the fenderwell and it went tons easier!

When compressing the calipers loosen the cap on the brake fluid res. This will help provide less resistance and make it easier.

Pulling to that side and not stopping?? Dead give away that the caliper is seized! Were the pads thinner on that side than the other? Another symptom of a bad caliper. They are surprisingly cheap.. just replace it and be done with it!
