Question belt replacement

I have no shop manual and need to replace the belt,do I turn the tensioner with the 1/2" bolt , or the 3/8" drive? or, what is the procedure?

3'8'' drive. I like to use a piece of pipe for a cheater on the rachet, that way you can hold the tensioner back with your elbow or shoulder and have both hands to work with.

Even easier if you get someone to hold the tensioner back for you. Careful not to put too much off plane pressure on it. Don't Ask How I Know!

On my old girl, the belt likes to catch on a little thingy on the right side of the damper pulley.

it's much easier to grab someone to hold the tensioner back for ya...

It's not impossible to do yourself, just much easier with another set of hands...
