What is serpentine belt length for w/o AC trucks? My "w/o AC" belt is too long!!!!
I am trying to by-pass my AC Compressor follwing the diagram under the hood, and the belt purchased from local auto parts store is too long.
Has anyone experienced this before?
What belt part # or length do I need? (2003 CTD)
Thank you,
-Brian

I'm coming up with a belt that is 110.250 inches for non-a/c trucks.
Another site says 110.790 inches Outside length for non-a/c trucks.
With A/C shows 127 inches.

Found my problem: Apparently there are two tensioner positions, one to the left, one to the right.
With the long, AC belt, the position is the Right.
To bypass the AC, the belt belongs in the Left position!

I've spent the last 3 hours trying to figure out what is going on here.
I picked up the supposed NON A/C belt from Napa P/N: 25 081102 and I'm stumped as to how it's supposed to go in.
I've routed all the accessories minus the A/C and I'm left with a LOT of belt.
according to the package it's a 1 3/32" x 110 3/4" belt
HELP!!!

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!
Different subject to OP but will add my .2c anyway.
Years ago I also had the belt fray on the fan side. Checked everything and even replaced the tensioner, but the problem remained. Went through 2 belts and noticed that the belt only lost one of the 'V's' and no more, so decided to keep an eye on it and just drive it. Never could find anything out of line, wobbling pullies etc Kept a spare belt in the truck in case the belt disintegrated. Drove the truck for tens of thousands of miles with a frayed belt with zero problems. One day while doing routine maintenance on the truck, decided to install a new belt. Much to my surprise, this new belt never frayed. Got maybe 20,000 miles on the new belt with no problems. So why did other belts fray and not this one? No idea.
