air in fuel

I had a guy stop in my shop and said he changed his fuel filter and got air in the lines and now it wont run, ive changed mine a half dozen times and never had this problem. Any ideas on what i should tell the guy to do. By the way it was on a 98/99 24 valve

Bleed the air out of the lines. Loosen the injectors and see if ya have fuel there. Is the check valve on the return side of the vp good?
He isn't the only one to swallow a gulp of air after a filer change...

BTW, good post about the SB. This should be done before defaulting to the in-tank pump setup for 98/99's.
