98 12V Lift pump broke..
My lift pump broke right at the mounting flange on the engine side, it was the little support for the rod that broke actually... Where is the cheapest place to get a new one.. Or can a guy buy a electric pump to replace it ?

The lift pump is readily available from Cummins, for about the best price you can find. You can also obtain a FASS electric system to replace the pump, but the replacement mechanical pump is much less expensive.
I am a bit confused by your description of what broke. There are two bolts that hold the lift pump to the block, the water separator and fuel heater is on a flange mounted behind it, and the pushrod goes through the hole in the pump and though the block and actuates the lift pump from a cam lobe. From your description, I take it the pump housing itself broke where the pushrod enters the housing. If so, that will be part of the new pump.
