2006 dodge 2500 dana rear end

does anyone know what size socket i need to remove nut on my pinon flange so i can replace seal any help appreciated

You are better off taking it to a mechanic of your choice that does diff work. It needs to be set properly or you can ruin the diff.

i am only replacing seal behind flange so i dont need to set anything on rear end have done this seal on my ford f250 with posi trac rear end no problems easy job to do seal

The service manual says it needs to be set back up with an in/lbs wrench and to use a new pinion nut.

Im not shure if its the sam numbers, but on the dana it should be set to some where between 15- 27 in/lbs. and a new nut is to be used. I dont remeber the size off hand tho.
