2002 No Start
Will crank and try to fire but fails to start. Tried enough 20 second long cranking sessions to kill the battery.
No codes, fuel pressure is solid at 20psi, cracked injector lines and it is getting fuel, grid heater is working. Nothing obviously wrong and I'm out of idea's.
This started yesterday morning, hard start but once running ran fine, did this again leaving work and this morning no start.

When you cracked the injector line, did you get fuel 'trickling' out, or shooting out? If the fuel is not shooting out, you are not getting enough to run. Try removing the intake hose from the turbo, and spray WD-40 into the intake, while having someone turn the key. WD-40 is a great starting fluid for diesel engines, and wont cause problems like ether.

Turns out it is fuel related.
I tried using WD40 but it wouldn't even try to fire on it. Finally had to break and down and use ether (only once to see if it would run). I think the issue is the relay to the fuel pump is triggered only when the key is in the "on" position. It turns off when it cranks. I've had it set up this way for a couple years and no issues until now. But when I have constant power to the pump it starts every time (3 times exactly, still needs to prove reliability).
I need a power feed that is on when the key is in both the run and crank position but off in accessory or off positions. I'm going to ask over in the second gen forum as well to not clog up the 911 forum.
