2001 died
I was coming home from work today at 5 pm. And when I took my foot off go pedal to turn corner truck just died. I did the three times with the key and there was no codes come up on the odemeter screen. Got it home and with the help of a tow truck. Checked for fuel when I turned it over and fuel shoots out like crazy. Before the truck died I had 19psi fuel pressure on the guage. Need some advice guys Thanks for your time Garry.

Garry first guess would be vp44. Did you crack the injector lines when you said you had fuel shooting out? Strange that there are no codes. Maybe play with the electrical connection at the apps and vp.
Sorry I can't be much help. Hopefully someone will come up with better ideas.
Where in Saskatchewan are you?

I am in St Gregor about 15 miles east of humboldt. I will give that a try. Any ideas you have will help me narrow it down. The injector pump on my truck has never been touched. I will try a few other things. Thanks for the ideas. will keep you posted

Another thing might be the cam position sensor. Maybe that connection is bad. If you have fuel at the nozzle I assume the vp 44 has enough pressure to overcome the injectors.
Just more thoughts.

loosen all the high pressure lines that you can get to, then crank it over, and see which ones are shooting fuel. I would almost be willing to bet that fuel will only be present at one, perhaps two of the injector lines. If that is the case, you have experienced a mechanical failure within the rotor head on the pump.
I have had many pumps do this, and none ever throw codes. Here's hoping this is not the case, but if it is, well, you get to change a pump. How many K on that thing now?
good luck

Found out was wrong with my cummins. There was a crack in the fuel filter cap and it was sucking air into the fuel system. Cracked the injector line and the truck fired up. Can a guy buy a steel or aluminum cap to replace that plastic piece of junk. Thank you guys for all your help Garry
