truck was running fine....TST 1/1, Bullydog on Crazy Larry....punch from 40mph to 60mph...then hear whining and clattering, put the truck in N, coasted to a stop, shut the truck off because the noise was horrible. Truck would not start again and had the noise...only it got worse. replaced the crankshaft sensor on the side of the road...no help.....removed Bullydog and TST....still no better. took off the valve cover and checked to see if the valves were moving while bumping the starter. At first, nothing moved. Then we saw slight movement out of 2 of them....first time 3,4.....then 2,5 had movement....towed it home............

Its the flex plate. took the bell housing off and metal shavings fell in my buddie's face. When it broke, it was rubbing against something else.

The flex plate was stock....hadn't been replaced with DTT yet....that was in mind for next round of tranny mods (billet flex plate and billet output)

 

Gotta love it when that happens.

 

atleast it wasn't internal motor problems.....the only code it threw was PO336...Crankshaft....it had me worried there for a little bit....


oddly enough i had a CEL/MIL yesterday for no apparent reason...then this happens today
