03 running horrible

Today i noticed when i really get on the pedal my trucks starts running real bad once it gets to about 2300 rpms. So i took it easy and then when i came to a stop sign it just died on me. Well i got it started again and it will run ok for a minute and then start cutting out again and die. So i went and got a fuel filter and changed it and got it started and it ran real strong for about two miles and then it started missing real bad at 2300 rpms again. Does anyone have an idea what is going on? Its all stock

lift pump going or gone...

do a search here for all kinds of alternatives. I put 3 on my truck before it finally got to 100,000 miles and then I went to twin holleys and an adapter plate on my filter housing.

with the rp-100 like i have it was very easy comes with every thing you need and dont have to drill any holes in the frame to mount the pump. check out this web page http://pureflowtechnologies.com/Raptor.htm

Looks like he has an '03 as well. I'm pretty sure that's the one he is talking about. Agreed, sure sounds like a lift pump. Tons of options. Just do some research first. I chose the Walbro pump for eas of installation, ease of replacement, and you can typically find some sort of pump at most auto parts stores to put in it's place to get you where you're going in a pinch! Can't do that with those pumps that have the filters and all included in them, withough bypassing the filters.

it is a little black canister looking thing on the back side of the filter unless it has had the dodge update and it has been put in the tank if has then it has the same style pump as the 05
