dropping and fluctuating fuel pressure!

Hey guys i have the walbro fp on my truck but for the last 2 weeks it has been dropping to 0psi on my guage and jumping around then it will straighten out and do fine only to repeat the process once again. when idling everything seems fine but as soon as you give it fuel the pressure will drop down all the way if you push the pedal too fast. any ideas would be appreciated

I really don't know for sure, I'm not real familiar with the Walbro units. How is your gauge set up? Mechanical or electrical? Might be a problem with the guage, not the fuel system itself.

everything checks out fine i jsut spoke with richard at glacier andhe is mailing me a replacement today to see if that will fix the problem at no charge. So maybe i can start driving it again later this week. He was very helpful. It's nice to know that he backs up his product like that.

Is your gauge mechanical, or electric. If mechanical,,did you use an isolator. If so, did you put anything in the line to the gauge. I didn't at first and it would work great for a while, then start dropping pressure. If I would just take the line loose from the top of the isolator, and put it back on, all would be fine for a while.

So how did you hook up your gauge.

i got the same problem, after going away for sometime it has now reappeared, and fluctuates between 5-15 PSI, reads fine when it's cold, but tends to start acting up when the engine is warm, which leads me to think it may be electrical, something on the LP perhaps. but it may be the isolator. will have to take a closer look at it this weekend, if the weather warms up a bit.
