I noticed lately that my fuel pressure gauge is starting to fluctuate...it use to sit @ 21 at idle and 15-16 cruising and held steady, now it "quivers" the whole time...what do you think? pressure is still strong, fuel filter maybe? i've got about 7k on the current one..

 

Go get a needle valve. It'll solve your problem. I don't know what size you'll need since your using the max flow kit, but normally you would do a 1/8" NT needle valve. Mine was doing the same thing till Merrick sent me one. Now it holds steady at 19 and never moves.

 

i have a needle valve, maybe i need to try and adjust a bit? i have always had it and it just started quivering..i will definitely try messing w/ it to see if it helps though.

 

I wrote in another thread that I had a similar problem, turned out I had a dirty fuel filter. The needle was bouncing all over the place. I checked the last time the filter was replaced and it was over due, not good. I changed the filter and bingo! solid needle again. I have my gauge connected to the top of the fuel filter housing, some have it coming off the vp.

 

Well never mind then.
